Bestech Knife Step Black G10 D2

The Bestech STEP is a compact, rugged fixed blade knife that combines a bold tanto design with excellent everyday practicality.

Design and ergonomics

The subtle curve of the handle provides outstanding ergonomics and a natural, secure grip.

The symmetrical design makes it equally comfortable for right and left-handed users. With an overall length of 18.2 cm and a weight of only 110 g, the STEP is well balanced and comfortable to carry all day.

Tanto blade in D2 steel

The 8.2 cm tanto blade has a thickness of 3.75 mm and a high flat grind, giving it a strong tip for piercing and an efficient edge for slicing.

It is ideal for everyday tasks such as opening boxes, carving wood or preparing food outdoors.

The blade is made from D2, a proven tool steel that has been used in cutting tools since World War II.

Hardened to approximately 60 HRC, it offers excellent edge retention, good toughness and is easy to resharpen.

Clean and dry the blade after use and apply a drop of oil from time to time to prevent discolouration or rust.

The elegant satin finish gives the blade a refined, classic look that remains very popular among knife enthusiasts.

G10 handle

The black handle scales are made of G10, a composite of glass fibre and synthetic resin.

G10 is extremely strong, lightweight and dimensionally stable, and is unaffected by moisture or temperature changes.

Its textured surface provides reliable grip in all conditions, making it an excellent choice for a fixed blade.

Kydex sheath

The knife is supplied with a sturdy Kydex sheath that holds the blade securely and protects the steel during transport.

To keep it in good condition, rinse the inside of the sheath regularly with water to remove dirt and debris that could scratch the blade.

Designed by Denis Simonutti

The STEP was designed by Italian designer Denis Simonutti.

A passionate mountaineer, he earned the nickname "tarantula" among his friends, which inspired his recognisable spider logo.

Known for his innovative ideas, he regularly creates fresh and distinctive knife designs.
