New

Designed by Polish knife maker Ostap Hel, the Bestech Ivy is a compact EDC knife with a sculpted handle and a subtle hawkbill blade, defined by his signature clean lines and smooth transitions.

The 7.7 cm blade is made from Sandvik 14C28N, a Swedish stainless steel that resists corrosion, holds its edge well and is easy to resharpen.

With a thickness of 3.5 mm, it handles daily tasks with ease, while the stonewash finish keeps signs of use less visible.

The black G10 handle offers a secure, textured grip and is built to take a beating.

A flipper and ceramic ball bearings give fast, smooth one-hand opening, and a liner lock keeps the blade securely in place.

With an overall length of 18.1 cm and a weight of just 79 g, the Ivy is light and easy to carry every day.

More info

The Bestech Ivy is a compact folding knife that pairs a sculpted, flowing handle with a distinctive hawkbill blade.

Its curved lines give the Ivy a character of its own. As the name suggests, the open knife resembles a creeping ivy vine, while remaining a practical tool for everyday tasks.

Design and ergonomics

The sculpted handle follows the natural shape of the hand, providing a comfortable, secure grip and a modern, organic look.

With a closed length of 10.3 cm, an overall length of 18.1 cm and a weight of just 79 g, the Ivy is light, compact and easy to carry throughout the day.

Hawkbill blade in 14C28N steel

The 7.7 cm blade has a thickness of 3.5 mm and a subtle hawkbill profile.

Its inward curve helps hold material against the edge, giving controlled, efficient pulling cuts.

It handles everyday jobs with ease, from opening boxes and cutting cord to stripping tape or trimming plastic straps.

The blade is made from 14C28N Swedish stainless steel enriched with nitrogen.

It offers excellent corrosion resistance and good edge retention, and is easy to bring back to a keen edge.

Clean and dry the blade after use to keep it in top condition.

The stonewash finish gives the blade a rugged look while helping to hide scratches from daily use.

G10 handle

The black handle scales are made of G10, a composite of glass fibre and synthetic resin.

G10 is extremely strong, lightweight and dimensionally stable, and is unaffected by moisture or temperature changes.

Its milled texture provides a dependable grip in all conditions, making it an excellent choice for an everyday carry knife.

Opening, lock and clip

A flipper and ceramic ball bearings allow fast, smooth one-hand opening.

A steel liner lock keeps the blade firmly in place during use.

The steel pocket clip keeps the knife secure and always within reach.

Designed by Ostap Hel

The Ivy was designed by Ostap Hel, a prolific knife designer from Poland who works with various brands.

His style is easy to recognise: clean lines and smooth transitions between materials, shapes and textures. Interestingly, he started metalwork as an apprentice using medieval techniques, a stark contrast to the modern designs he creates today.
