The Laser infrared illuminator TenoSight L‑940 is the tool you need.

An exceptionally strong infrared illuminator capable of projecting 940nm out to 550 metres, built for hunters and rescue teams who rely on superior night‑time visibility.

Optimised for hunters and rescue teams who need reliable clarity in complete darkness, this is a Long‑range IR output for demanding environments.

Designed for intuitive operation:

Control is straightforward thanks to the combination of a back main button and excellent ergonomics

• Use the main button to power the device on or off and rotate it to fine‑tune light intensity.

• Its housing is made from durable materials and includes water resistance, ensuring reliability in the field.

Power supply:

The unit runs on a single 18650 Li‑ion battery (the battery is not included), providing up to 2.5 hours of continuous use.

Advantages and disadvantages of 940 nm wavelenghts:

• Near‑invisible emitter - the glow is extremely faint, making it far harder for animals to detect.

• Better for stealth hunting - especially useful for wary species or close‑range pest control.

• Reduced sensor sensitivity - digital NV devices pick up less light at 940 nm, so the image is dimmer.

• Shorter effective range - typically 30 to 40 percent less reach than 850 nm.

• More noise in the image - the device compensates by increasing gain, which can introduce grain.

Best for: stealth‑critical situations, close to medium range, avoiding visible signature.
