Snowpeak Slingshot 001-2
The Slingshot 001-2 is a compact and precision-oriented model from the same trusted manufacturer behind popular PCP and spring-powered airguns.
The handle is made from high-density ABS polymer, providing a firm and smooth grip.
It features two deep finger scallops for the middle and ring fingers, along with shallower grooves for the index and pinky fingers.
The backstrap flares out near the bottom, mimicking the ergonomic contour of a pistol grip for added control.
Each fork tip is equipped with four green fiber optic inserts to assist with manual aiming.
These visual guides help align the projectile with the centerline of the frame during draw.
The latex band is secured by polymer retainers, and the retainer screws feature textured grooves for easy removal and reattachment.
The caps on the Y-frame ends are threaded, allowing for quick access when replacing the bands.
The projectile pouch measures 14 by 38 millimeters, slightly larger than the one found on the 003 model.
It is optimized for 6mm and 8mm steel shot, with a dedicated cut-out for smaller rounds.
