LP2 → Lightest Match Pistol!
→ The LP Pedigree
The Steyr LP2 PCP air pistol emerged as a streamlined successor to earlier Steyr models like the LP1, offering a lighter, more accessible option for precision sport shooting.
Introduced in the early 2000s after Steyr Sport GmbH split from Steyr Mannlicher in 2001, the LP2 retained the brand’s hallmark features, such as the infinitely adjustable trigger and dry-fire training system, while simplifying the design for newer athletes.
It shares DNA with the high-end LP10, even borrowing its adjustable rear sight notch in some regional versions.
The basis of the STEYR air pistol range offers all the features of the appreciated, preeminent quality of STEYR: nickel-plated barrels, anodized surfaces and a legendary precision!
Over time, Steyr expanded the LP2 line to include a Compact variant, catering to shooters who prefer a shorter sight radius and lighter frame.
Its enduring reputation stems from decades of consistent performance and thoughtful innovation.

incroyable

Five star pistol
After about 100 shots and another 300 dry fire shots here are my impressions. The dry fire mechanism is very smooth, and the trigger is crisp. The design is simple, and the build quality is superb. I enjoy the overall weight which is light. Of course, the shipping from Mundilar was fast and efficient. Steyr grips may run a little small I think. This is because I ordered a large size grip and it feels a little small. Overall, this is a 5 star pistol.
